Back With Layouts

See? I told you I would be back. Parent/Teacher conferences are done - my kids are very smart and well behaved. Boy do they have the teachers fooled ;)

Now it is time to show off some great kits!

First I'll talk with Garden Girl Design's new Easter kit - Hoppy Days

Here is my layout:

The next kit is Colie's Corner new kit - Bunny Hop

Here is what I did with it (and her template - For Starters 27)
Up now is Tracy's Scraps Designs Kit she made with Simply.Scraps - Gotta Hug

I just love this kit

Plus Tracy's CT members (yay us) have a blog where we will be giving having contests, playing games, and giving away freebies. You'll want to make sure you head over there tomorrow!
Danielle Corbitt Designs has a great new basketball kit - Nothing But Net

Here is a layout about my dad:

Last and certainly not least is Tumble Time by Haynay Designs
Here is my silly little man. It is hard to imagine he is almost 3.
Thanks for taking the time to look!! I promise to start doing smaller layout posts...lol

The Flood

I've actually been scrapping lately. As you get to know me better, you'll be shocked at that statement...lol. I'm all caught up on my CT work which is just amazing. I'm hoping to stay that way.

I'll come back later and show you what I've been working with (you'll just love them), but for now I wanted to show some pictures of what we've been living with lately.

This is the Warwick Mall - where we do our shopping in RI -

Here is a You Tube video of a river near my house. I pass by here everyday to take the boys to school - Flooded River

Crazy I tell you! Luckily our basement was relatively dry. What a wild March this was!

Have you had crazy weather too?

Catching Up

Wow! It's been over a month since I posted last. Can I claim that I've been busy? Can I blame it on the kids? Ok great! Sorry I haven't posted, I've been busy with the kids..hehe. Actually I've been so unorganized that it was just hard trying to figure out where I had to be.

I was helping Pretty Scrappy with their site when the entire "she copied me, no I didn't" went down. Now that Pretty Scrappy has closed, I find myself with more time. One less thing to worry about. Aren't you amazed with the amount of drama the digital world of scrapbooking can hold? I know I am! I was talking with my friend Leigh and we were thinking of opening a digital store with the theme "Leave the drama at the door". We weren't sure if the site would succeed because people love drama...lol.

Enough of that, I've added a few more CT's to my schedule. I'm still the CT leader for Garden Girl Designs, and Colie's Corner (she is having a guest CT call right now if you are interested!). I'm also on Trixie Scraps Designs, Danielle Corbitt Designs, and Haynay Designs. I'm still shocked that these designers think I'm talented enough to be on their teams. I must have fooled them or something. Either way I'll take it.

That is really all that is new. I'm hoping to be better about posting. I may actually include some layouts next time and show off some kits. In the meantime, look over my designer's stores. There are some amazing kits out there - tons you just have to have.

Thanks for stopping by!!

ADSR #5 and a Sneak Peak

My friend Fran and I are doing the Amazing Digi-Scrapping Race (Season 5) together for the 2nd year. We are having a blast, well at least I am. Twice a week, Sundays and Tuesdays, we get challenges that are due on the following Sunday. We just finished the first week challenges and are now working on the 2nd weeks challenges.

The first challenge was the do a layout your partner. This lead to lots of laughter. I told Fran that I was going with an extremely girly kit - which if you know Fran - it isn't her. We both have only boys in our house, and girl kits make us roll our eyes. I mean how do you scrap with a girly kit when you only have boys. Well, you do your best with the pics you have. Anyway, for this challenge I used Colie's Corners' My BFF

The 2nd challenge was more complicated. We had to make a layout with a "formula". The theme of the layout had to be 5 things I LOVE about something. We had to use a combination of 5 fonts and/or alphas in the title - yes the title. Also we had to use 5 photos, one of the photos must have the number 5 in it! Lastly we had to use 5 different elements of the same type. For this layout I used Doodles in the Sky by Kandy Kane Creations.

Needless to say we passed for the week. Now to work on this weeks challenges. Check back later on for those layouts!!

Now the exciting sneak peak! Trixie Scrap Designs has an incredible kit coming out tomorrow. This kit is a MUST have, you have no idea how much I love this kit. Here is a sneak peak!

Have a great night and don't forget to buy Tracy's kit!!

New Blog

With my old website about to expire, I decided it was time I created a better blog. One that is easier to maintain, and doesn't have so much spam. I was constantly getting spam comments, and spam people trying to register as users.

I don't like Spam - even with eggs...even if it isn't really ham spam, but is turkey spam. We call that spurkey. I don't like that either. Yuck. I guess Spam of all kinds is gross.

With all that rambling done, welcome to my new blog. Keep checking back for sales from the designers I create for (Colie's Corner, Garden Girl Designs, Kandy Kane Creations, and Trixie Scraps Designs). I'll be posting layouts I have made along with the kits I used. Trust me, with these designers, they are all amazing. I am so lucky to be creating for them. Plus my partner in crime, Fran and I are once again doing the ADSR this year. I'll be posting my layouts here for that as well!

Until next time!
